Established on 1st Oct, 1926 as Public Service Commission, it was subsequently reconstituted as Federal Public Service Commission by the Government of India Act 1935; just to be renamed as the present Union Public Service Commission after the autonomy.

What is UPSC?

UPSC Recruitment Process 

UPSC exam has three(3) stages:- Prelims, Mains and personality tests.

Prelims exam is a passing stage in nature, marks got in prelims are not included in the last legitimacy list. In prelims test the two papers are target type. The General Studies II (CSAT) paper is qualifying in nature, you need to get 33% imprints to pass the subsequent paper, there is likewise a negative checking in the prelims test. B. UPSC Mains Exam Pattern
